Troubleshooting Sync Errors
Data synchronization issues can occur for various reasons. This guide covers the most common errors and their solutions to help you get back on track quickly.
Authentication Expired
If you see an "Authentication Expired" error, your integration's access token has expired. Go to Integrations, find the affected integration, and click "Reconnect" to re-authorize access.
Rate Limit Exceeded
This error occurs when too many API requests are made in a short period. Reachware automatically retries rate-limited requests. If the issue persists, try reducing your sync frequency or contact support to discuss higher limits.
Data Mapping Conflict
Mapping conflicts happen when field types don't match between systems. Check your field mappings in the integration settings. Ensure date fields map to dates, numbers to numbers, and text to text fields.
Connection Timeout
Timeouts usually indicate the external service is slow or unavailable. Check the service's status page. If the service is up, try triggering a manual sync. For persistent timeouts, contact Reachware support.
